SWITZERLAND
Geneva
 11-25-03
We visited Geneva directly from the hustle and bustle of Italy.
It was a welcome change.
 Lake Geneva.
We walked all around the city.
 Interesting buildings and trees.
Massive-sized homes.
 Lake Geneva was so peaceful.
We walked through the famous Jardin Botanical Gardens.
 Lots of government buildings.
Geneva is the headquarters of the United Nations.
It is where the Geneva Conventions was signed,
which set common rules for the treatment of prisoners of war.
 It was beautiful at night.
St. Peter's Cathedral glowed green at night.
Time to go back to the hotel.
This was the elevator.
The doors all had room-numbers tacked to the doors.
In the evening, the management would come around
and change all the numbers to confuse everyone,

I did tell you, that we do not always pick 4-Star Hotels...Didn't I?
