The architecture in Brussels was impressive.
We ate lunch at a café in this square,
and they had the greatest pumpkin soup that we have ever had.
There seemed to be a lot of restoration being done throughout the city.
Kevin by a statue
Manneken Pis is a very famous statue of a naked boy urinating.
There are a few different legends and no one was quite sure why it was put there.
But they really did like it.
I think this was the flying cow mall.
The lights at night were beautiful.

Bruges

It was a long walk from the train station to the center of town.
It took about an hour or so, if I remember correctly.
We walked and walked.
And walked.
And walked.
The scenery did make the walk pleasant.
And still we walked.
And walked.
As pedestrian traffic increased, we knew were getting close to the town center.
And then we made it.
It was pretty, but next time we should take a taxi.
Very quaint.
The buildings are all starting to look alike.
Time to head back to the train station.
My feet were starting to hurt and I was willing to ride on the back of this trike.
We did get back to the trains.

My feet were starting to hurt and I was willing to ride on the back of this trike.
We did get back to the trains.
and on to Antwerp.
But it was raining and Antwerp looked particularly dreary so we got back on the train.
